Hi there fellow partyers. I have been to Wicked once, and I have loved it. Although I wouldn't say I'm new to the "scene" I am new to this crowd. Just curious if there is anyone out there ok with my body type? I guess I would call myself BBW. I'm not entirely confident with what others think of me (it's been a flaw all my life and hard to get rid of) but it would be nice to know people in this crowd are down for someone like me, because when I visited everyone was do darn pretty!

You asked whether there would be anyone who would be OK with your body type. It is hard to tell what your body type is from your profile pic. However, I can tell you that your face pic is really, really cute. You are bound to get attention just because of that. Not to mention that you are a single lady - the ever elusive 'unicorn'. Finally, regardless of body type, there is someone for everyone. So, if you are asking if you can score easily at WIcked, that is almost certainly a yes. However, I would guess there may be more that you wanted to know...

You should not feel repressed by what others think of you. I know, you have probably heard that a thousand times and you yourself know very well that it is easier said than done and it may indeed be a lifetime challenge, especially in a culture dominated by plank-like anorexic fashion models and statuesque Barbies on the TV screen who can barely read their lines. Regardless, you should make some radical decisions as to how you regard negative feedback about your body. It does not mean you need to be a b*tch or that you should not take friendly constructive feedback. However, in the end, you are not a piece of meat and your body is not all that is to you. Especially in the lifestyle this may be difficult to reconcile but in the longer run, it is the mentally healthy way to interact with people who do not appreciate you as a whole person. We have met some great people through Wicked and especially this site, people who we feel respect us for what else we bring besides our physio-sexual paraphernalia.

Ultimately attractiveness flows from the inside. Your profile shows you to be a person of diverse interests and creativity. In the long run that also outweighs looks. We will all wilt one day and even the hottest will be not so hot then. Ability to bring enrich others, however, can hold for a lifetime.

If you ever feel like chatting and see us in the club, feel free to come over and say 'Hi!'. We won't be there this Saturday but the following Saturday is almost certain.

In the meantime, keep your chin up an inch higher, your heels a bit firmer on the ground and your dreams in an upward trajectory!

I am also in agreement with your thoughts on body image, I like being a bigger woman, just not this big. so I know I have to focus, put down the burger king everyday after work, and maybe walk a bit more but at the same time hoping people don't shun me in the process of my change, either way I suppose as a young woman I'll never be completely happy with myself

I'm happy to hear that curves seem to be appreciated at the club. I've been afraid to come to Wicked because I thought I would be too big. (I'm 145 pounds) but it sounds like I would be okay.

I went to other lifestyle clubs once in a while when I was married and saw people of all shapes and sizes. Now that I'm single, I've been curious about coming out to Wicked one night cos it looks like a blast. I've been to parties there for other reasons (Sex Show etc) but never just to dance and meet people. I'm coming out soon!!

I should update that I managed to make it out one time and had a fantastic time!!

Curves are beautiful. There are all sorts of different body types at wicked and all sorts of people who appreciate them.

I had a fabulous time last night. What a great club!

I met a lovely couple who gave me their card. However, I left it in my locker (my locker was above my head and I forgot to double check if it was empty) and now can't contact them. If you guys are on here, pop me an email!!

Being plus-size, we had the same fears & concerns about Wicked as we'd heard more than our share of rumours about the club's "exclusionist" characteristics. We fully support the club's right to decide what kind of clientele they want (if it was our place of business we'd want the same rights) but that doesn't tell us whether we'd be included in that clientele. So we simply emailed Aurora directly to see if we were "their kind of people."

Also unfortunately there are a lot of social preconceptions & misconceptions about size, weight, shape/body style. Already someone here has said they felt they might be too big at 145lbs. Well, we sure find that completely demoralizing because 145lbs is an impossible dream to us.

Yes, the whole thing can be pretty intimidating for some of us, especially when you look at a lot of the others at Wicked. Really the only thing you can do is put your best foot forward, embrace the person you are, and try to do the things that make you feel best about yourself.

At 5' 4", 145 pounds is "big" on my frame.
The first time I went, I was one of the larger ladies for sure. The second time I went, I was more average in the crowd. Depends who goes that night I guess.

However I had incredible fun both nights so I'm not worried anymore about any of it!! Like anything, sometimes it's scarier to think about then to just actually DO IT!!

I think curves are beautiful on a woman...to me women should be soft, curvy, sexy...the opposite of a man.

I know how you feel...I'm 140lbs and 5'5". I always felt like I was "too curvy"....but my bf all the beautiful and open minded people at Wicked totally changed that.

Anyway, you're absolutely beautiful...I hope when you hit Wicked you show off those curves

I too have been a little apprehensive about coming to the club even though I want to go. I am a BBW and have also heard many rumours about Wicked and the fact that they only let "beautiful" people in.

I have been to another club and have been very welcome and felt comfortable and there have been people there of all shapes and sizes. But, I have always wanted to go to Wicked. It seems like a very classy place and the people in the Forum seem really cool.
